CDP celebrate 30 years / CDP Celebro 30 años.

Over 38 years ago Lisa shared a vision and desire of having home for moms with Jeanie Sue. She wanted a home where the children could stay with Mom.(Because in Mexico at that time many children in orphanages had moms who had partners who did not want other men’s children ) The home would allow moms to stay with their children Then they could see how the Lord can move them forward inspire of the challenges. Now here we are. 30 years ago and on 21 March , 30 years ago we opened Casa del Pastor. We were honored to invite each mom who received home from the Lord. We broke bread together. Prayed and played games , made cookies and gave prizes . We celebrated what the Lord has done. Thank you Shelley for making this happen by encouraging us to celebrate these moms. God has been good. We also want to say thank you for the hundreds of brothers and sisters in the Lord that makes this possible to give a home for the mom so they can experience the hand of the Lord. Isaiah 40:10 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.

Español Hace más de 38 años, Lisa compartió con Jeanie Sue la visión y el deseo de crear un hogar para madres. Quería un hogar donde los niños pudieran quedarse con sus madres (porque en México, en aquel entonces, muchas madres de niños en orfanatos tenían parejas que no querían hijos de otros hombres). El hogar permitiría a las madres quedarse con sus hijos y así ver cómo el Señor las ayuda a salir adelante a pesar de las dificultades. Y aquí estamos. Hace 30 años, el 21 de marzo, inauguramos Casa del Pastor. Tuvimos el honor de invitar a cada madre que recibió un hogar del Señor. Compartimos el pan, oramos, jugamos, horneamos galletas y entregamos premios. Celebramos lo que el Señor ha hecho. Gracias, Shelley, por hacer esto posible al animarnos a celebrar a estas madres. Dios ha sido bueno. También queremos agradecer a los cientos de hermanos y hermanas en el Señor que hacen posible brindar un hogar a las madres, para que puedan experimentar la mano del Señor. Isaías 40:10 Él apacentará su rebaño como un pastor; recogerá los corderos con su brazo, los llevará en su seno y guiará con ternura a las que amamanta.
