10 Year Old Passes Away

Last month, a tragic accident occurred in the back of our church. Calvary Chapel San Vicente backs up to the only #1 highway going south. On November 25th, a child in our neighborhood was hit and killed. Jorden was 10 years old. This loss devastated and saddened our youth. We had a memorial for him in our church. It was a challenging time for our children to lose a young friend. According to those who knew him, he knew Jesus, hungered, and sought more answers to his questions. However, our children asked their classmates and teachers if they could minister to his family. It was a tender encounter when they took over $100 worth of goods and food to the family. Reyna, the mom, was truly touched in her heart.
